She-Commando

Hi there, here's a drawing I've been doing today, just for fun. Isn't finished and this isn't the full drawing, but I wanted to upload this part of the process.
It's colored in photoshop and made vector with CorelDRAW X3.
I'll be changing a few things and surely recoloring it.
I'll be uploading some new illustrations soon.

Tiny Life at IndyPlanet

Tiny Life is illustrated in pencil by me and everything else (script, ink, tones, lettering) is done by the creator Nick Jones.

Submission

During these days I've been preparing five pages for a submission. This is the first page.

I'll be working in the next days in a new short story for submission to different places. I'll be trying to make each page in two different styles, one 'mainstream' and the other my personal style.

In order to achieve that, I'll have to do a lineal drawing style and consider it like the mainstream style, then I could apply lights and shadows, textures and different effects to transform it into my personal style. We'll see what happens.

In the other hand, I'll start to finish some old scripts to have them ready for a writer submission.

Short Story - Page 6 preview

Hi, here I'm presenting the page 6 from a short story that I've been doing these days. It's just for fun but I'll be probably submitting it somewhere once it's finished. It's also useful for expanding my gallery.

I'm also working on Shugendo, a warriors path. I'll be uploading some more preview pages soon.

Coloring

Drawing and coloring just for fun.

I've done the volumes in grayscales, then I've applied the colors with the 'tone/saturation' option in photoshop.

Then I've adjusted the light a bit with the 'lighting effect' option.

Finally I've adjusted the mid-tones and shadows with the 'levels' option.

Self-portrait

My first attempt at vector art using Photoshop.

It's a self-portrait though I was younger at the time of that picture.

I'll be experimenting a bit more with this to see what happens.

Tiny Life: Issue 3 preview

Here's the preview of page 17 from Tiny Life #3.

In this issue Jed gets back to the house where he lived when was a kid, and he finds it almost in ruins.

He's searching for clues of his past and his parents' past. The story starts to give a mystic turn.

The script, inks, digital textures and lettering are the work of Nick Jones, president of Sliver ltd.

Shugendo, a warriors path: Page 1 preview

Here's a preview of the first page from the first chapter of 'Shugendo, a warriors path' written by Kris Gardner.

Has been a while since the last time I've done the Anime/Manga style, but I find out that I can easily adapt me to it.

I'm also learning a lot about ninjas. It's a really cool project and I'm thankful to Kris that chose me to draw it.

I'll be uploading here some sketches and pages from time to time.
