"Soldiers of Fortune"

Another illustration/concept for my story "Checkmate". A particularity about these characters is that the look of the first two from the left it's inspired in real people (they are my two collaborators so far on "Patreon"). The one below is one of the protagonists. Listen to Deep Purple - Soldier Of Fortune.

A new image for my project "Checkmate". In this case emulating the painting by Retzsch Moritz, where he portrays Mephistopheles and Faust playing chess, inspired by the work of Goethe.

"Whiskey"

Another preview from a New Concept Comics project, written and drawn by N. F. Colacitti.

Based on the works by Carl G. Jung, Aleister Crowley, Manly P. Hall, among others, the story uses symbolism, contradictions and hidden messages that invite the reader to think, question and somehow be a part of the narration.

Check out these previous advances:
"Step by Step", "See you soon" and "Trimurti".

The work is in process. Stay tuned for new ones!

Prometheus

The latest study/exercise I've been doing during 2012, unfinished. It is based on the painting by Heinrich Fueger. I've selected the colors and done the drawing by observing the original picture, without using digital tools. Let's see what 2013 brings.

Level Up!

Another new year coming, so I just wanted to give my best wishes to everyone involved in New Concept Comics and to all the visitors worldwide!
Let's finish this 2011 with a little overview of the things done since my last post, including: storyboards, test pages, color tests, and a large etc, for screen writers and comic book writers.
This also includes a new project I'm working on, I won't say anything about it yet, but it has to do with my previous post.
Thanks everyone, enjoy the holydays and see you soon!

Exercising...

Process of a narrative exercise I did recently.
The idea was to take a page from an author who inspired me and reinterpret it and draw it in my own style.
I took an example from the great Mike Parobeck (1965-1996) from his work on "Batman Adventures".
This page will be on display this year in the local event "comics' week" (Mar del Plata, Argentina).

New workshop space & poster!

Hi everyone,

this is another poster for my drawing & comics workshop, this one takes place at the "Centro Cultural Héctor Oesterheld" (writer of the popular comic book El Eternauta). So I came out with the idea of representing the character in different drawing styles.

Enjoy!

First sketches for "Jed Jr."

These are the basic thumbnails for the first 15 pages of the new Tiny Life's book, called "Jed Jr.". Some of them need more work, others are ready to be drawn at the standard size.

And these are some of the first character sketches, mostly a study of their faces' proportions.

Check out some pictures of the first pages at the Official Tiny Life's website.

Tests

This is some of the latest stuff I've been working on: several tests for different projects doing pencils, inks and colors. Everything it's drawn by me except the toon style, which I only colored.
